For the love of the game, friendships old and new, and to support a wonderful cause, you are cordially invited to attend The 24th Annual Spring Golf Tournament on Friday, September 4th at the Downingtown Country Club, with all proceeds benefitting Canine Partners for Life. Held in honor of Chris Heinel, this tournament is inspired by the remarkable difference service dogs can make in everyday lives. By attending, you will help CPL to continue to achieve our mission of increasing the independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

With a 9:30 AM shotgun start, the tournament format will be best ball partners, full handicap. Prizes will be awarded to the top two low net teams and the top two low gross teams. Included with registration are green fees, cart fees, beer, water, and soda on the course, and a barbecue lunch featuring the legendary Voice of the Eagles, Merrill Reese! Alongside an unparalleled golfing experience, participate in closest-to-the-pin contests, a long drive competition, a silent auction, and an exciting raffle conducted by the Eagles Cheerleaders. Of course, you’ll be joined by your favorite tail-wagging friends from CPL!

This tournament began after Chris Heinel, the son of a close friend of John Thompson, was left paralyzed while playing lacrosse. His life was forever changed when he received a service dog, and over the last twenty-three years, this event has raised money in his name. CPL is honored to be the beneficiary this year and we extend our deepest appreciation to John Thompson for organizing this incredible event.

If you have any further questions or would like additional information about the tournament, please contact John Thompson at 215-704-6630. We hope to see you there!
